I'm seeking an experienced Xero bookkeeper for an ongoing monthly engagement to manage budget reporting for my personal and small home business finances. MONTHLY DELIVERABLES (3-5 hours/month): 1. Review and verify all transactions are properly categorized 2. Generate Budget vs Actual reports for both accounts 3. Create summary comparison showing: - Actual spending vs budgeted amounts by category - Variance analysis (dollar amount and percentage) - Year-to-date comparison 4. Update rolling 12-month forward budget based on: - Current spending trends - Seasonal patterns - Known upcoming changes REQUIREMENTS: - 2+ years experience with Xero - Strong English communication skills & ability to communicate via email - Experience creating budget variance reports - Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel for presentation TIMELINE: - Reports due by the 5th of each month for previous month - Initial month will include setup and familiarization RATE: - $12-18/hour depending on experience - Approximately 3-5 hours per month - Monthly retainer arrangement preferred TO APPLY: Please include: 1.
