Our nonprofit civic engagement website loads fine after caching, but the first visit experience is painfully slow — sometimes half a minute for a simple contact page. We’re looking for a WordPress Performance Optimization Engineer to fix this. What you’ll do: audit our WP setup, implement advanced caching (server/CDN/object), streamline CSS/JS delivery, and ensure Core Web Vitals meet modern benchmarks. Must have: proven success with WordPress performance tuning at scale, CDN/Cloudflare expertise, and hands-on Core Web Vitals optimization. (See attached for more details) Remote, U.S./Canada only.
