We’re looking for a skilled WooCommerce Website Developer (or team) with experience in building and managing e-commerce websites, particularly in the automotive/aftermarket parts industry. This role involves supporting our Ichiban Parts website as we prepare to launch the Alpha version of our online store. You will be responsible for managing website edits, importing product data with filtering, and providing technical support during the launch phase. We're using an existing WooCommerce theme. Key Responsibilities: - Website Edits & Customization: Implement necessary changes to improve the functionality and user experience of the website (homepage edits, page adjustments, etc.). - Product Import & Filtering: Manage the import of a large number of SKUs (over 100,000), ensuring product categories are properly organized with basic filtering (by brand, price, size, vehicle compatibility, etc.). - Launch Support: Assist with payment processing, taxes, shipping setup, and ensure a smooth transition to the Alpha launch. - Ongoing Maintenance: Provide post-launch support for website updates, bug fixes, and future feature development. Requirements: - Proven experience with WooCommerce development, specifically for e-commerce websites. - Strong understanding of product import/export with large datasets, including managing product categories and variants. - Familiarity with aftermarket automotive parts is a plus. - Knowledge of payment gateways, tax setup, and shipping methods in WooCommerce. - Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues quickly. - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Bonus: - Experience with SEO and website performance optimization. - Previous work in the automotive industry or knowledge of JDM parts.
