What you will do Develop new test cases for RRM functions such as beamforming, massive MIMO, carrier aggregation, dynamic spectrum sharing, scheduling, link adaptation, and power optimization Perform system-level simulations Develop, run, and automate domain-level test cases for NR Scheduler and 3GPP Standards related to MAC, RLC, PDCP Troubleshooting BB scheduler and L2 stack Perform EDA and characteristic analysis on lab and simulation data Contribute to developing AI powered RRM features Contribute to Innovation and Ericsson IPR While your main focus will be on SW development, you will also learn about 5G and 6G wireless technologies. You will bring Current enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year PhD student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Proficiency in C++, Java, and Python Strong publication track record Prior experience with software content management tools such as Git Good understanding of object-oriented programming, wireless communication, and IP Networking Excellent English communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, time management, and multitasking skills What happens once you apply?
