We are looking for an experienced link-building freelancer to help us secure high-quality, white-hat backlinks and citations to improve our local SEO rankings. We already have a list of 400 backlink prospects gathered through SEMrush, representing websites that have linked to our competitors. Your task will be to analyze how those competitors earned their backlinks and help us gain similar or better placements. Your Responsibilities: Review and organize our existing 400 SEMrush backlink prospects. Analyze how our competitors acquired their backlinks and replicate similar opportunities for our business. Conduct manual outreach for guest posts, resource mentions, and niche edits. Build NAP citations (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistently across major directories and Canadian business platforms. Focus on relevant and high-quality sites, especially those in British Columbia (BC) or Canada. Maintain transparency and quality — no PBNs, spam links, or automated submissions. Provide progress reports with link type, anchor text, URL, and domain authority. Requirements: Proven experience in white-hat link building and local SEO. Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools. Understanding of NAP consistency and citation building for local SEO. Ability to analyze competitor backlinks and outreach effectively. Strong written English (for personalized outreach emails). Knowledge of the Canadian and BC business landscape is a plus.
