Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage cashier duties including cash handling, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and storage to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Support team members in various tasks such as stocking supplies and preparing ingredients as needed.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, quick service & fast food restaurant operations, or café environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle transactions efficiently and courteously.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales upselling, and retail math calculations.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.65-$16.65 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
