Annual fitness allowance Position Summary The Warehouse Shipping Associate is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse and yard. This role supports inbound and outbound operations by unloading incoming products, verifying shipments, receiving and picking inventory using RF technology, and loading customer orders for shipment. The associate plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring on-time deliveries, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Salary: $24.50/hour Responsibilities: Unload product from incoming trailers as they arrive at the facility. Verify received materials against packing slips and shipping documentation. Receive product into the warehouse management system using RF scanners. Put away product in designated rack locations or in the yard. Pick product from racks or yard locations using RF scanners according to customer orders. Prepare pallets for shipment, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and load stability. Stage completed orders in designated shipping lanes based on carrier and route. Load product onto flat deck trailers and dry vans for shipment to customers Conduct cycle counts on inventory stored in racks and yard locations to maintain inventory accuracy. Safely operate warehouse equipment such as counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers as required by the task. Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and warehouse policies at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Knowledge and skill requirements: Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience required. Experience handling large products and working in narrow aisles preferred. Forklift experience required; certification on counterbalance, reach truck, and/or order picker is an asset. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
