The City of Lethbridge is looking for a dynamic individual to oversee and support the day-to-day functions of our multi-location concessions and warehouse operations. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing equipment maintenance, supervising event concessions, and ensuring compliance with food safety and liquor regulations. You’ll work closely with vendors and technicians, contribute to our point-of-sale system setup and maintenance, and provide leadership and scheduling support for warehouse staff.   • WAGE: $38.31/hour
  • HOURS: Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends depending on events. 40 hours bi-weekly

The Opportunity

  • · Maintain inventory and stock control for concessions and the warehouse. This includes ordering products and shopping when necessary for special request items.
  • · Perform equipment maintenance on concession equipment, some examples would include; grills, popcorn machines, and beverage lines. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, in-house repairs, and scheduling service calls as needed.
  • · Supervise multiple concession operations during events, including troubleshooting issues and responding to customer inquiries when required.
  • · Build and maintain relationships with food and beverage vendors, as well as equipment repair technicians.
  • · Play a key role in managing the food and beverage point-of-sale (POS) system, including menu and recipe creation, terminal setup, and inventory maintenance.
  • · Train and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and assigning work duties.
  • · Assist the Food and Beverage Coordinator in developing standard operating procedures for concessions and warehouse operations at the venue.
  • Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • First Aid
  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • Proserve
  • Food Handlers certificate is an asset or required to obtain once hired
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients
  • Knowledge of POS inventory control
  • Knowledge of concession and kitchen equipment
  • Cooking experience is an asset
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Possess knowledge of AGLC and AHS rules and regulations related to food and beverage operations
