Responsibilities
Respnsabilities of the warehouse associate:
- Perform diverse warehouse tasks as assigned by management, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and safely
- Handle Receiving duties, Small Parcel shipments, and managing non-conveyable items.
- Assist with the Shipping process
- Execute various Inventory Control Specialist functions such as Cycle Counting (requires ability to operate driver-based equipment), research, and reconciliation
- Conduct Quality Control inspections
- Support specialized tasks like Cargo/Outbound Receiving, Excess Clean Up, and performing Function Testing, Flash/RF Triage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and established performance standards within the busy warehouse environment.
Qualifications
Requirement of the warehouse associate:
- Demonstrated Ability to perform physically, including motions such as reaching, bending, picking up and standing/walking for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform duties in a warehousing type environment, demonstrating awareness and adherence to safety.
- Ability to take direction and work in accordance with set standards of performance and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred.
- Experience working in a similar General Labour role within a manufacturing, transportation, or warehousing setting is desired but not mandatory.
