Do you want to use your professional IT skills to make a real difference?
Join our elite team of volunteer IT specialists at Collide International Foundation for ADHD Autism. We are a fast-growing, highly active charity supporting neurodivergent youth and young adults across the country through counselling, support animals, art classes, workshops, life-skills programs, and more.

We are looking for experienced, motivated IT professionals who are passionate about giving back while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide broad IT support (Outlook, VPN setup and troubleshooting, account/password recovery, desktop and laptop issues, system administration, etc.)
  • Keep our large, national volunteer team connected and running smoothly
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges across different platforms and tools
  • Contribute to building systems that allow us to expand our reach and impact

Priority Skills – Meta Platform Expertise
Applicants with experience in the following areas will be given top consideration:

  • Handling content moderation: reviewing, flagging, or managing user-generated content according to platform rules
  • Managing account restrictions or shadow banning: understanding why accounts or posts are restricted or hidden, and how to address or escalate those issues
  • Navigating Meta’s enforcement and algorithmic systems: familiarity with how Meta enforces policies, detects violations, and applies algorithms that impact visibility or user experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 4 hours per week commitment
  • Attendance at weekly virtual meetings (required)
  • Substantial prior IT experience (help desk, systems support, generalist, etc.)
  • Professionalism, motivation, and a self-starter mindset
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Perks of Volunteering with Us

  • Resume-building experience in a hands-on, professional nonprofit environment
  • Public recognition: credit on our website, social media shoutouts, and letters of reference
  • Opportunities for networking with other professionals in IT and related fields across the country
  • Virtual socializing and community with a large, supportive volunteer team
  • The satisfaction of knowing your work directly helps youth with ADHD and Autism across Canada
  • Letters of recognition and references for outstanding contributions
