About
I am looking for a skilled video editor to create a 10–15 second intro for my YouTube channel (Connor Old). 👉 Channel link: youtube.com/@ConnorOld The concept is a cinematic montage that reflects the past 10 years of my content, leading into my current channel intro. The style should be inspired by the Oscars montage sequences — elegant, polished, and cinematic. What I’m envisioning: A 5–10 second montage of clips from my past videos (I will provide footage, but open to guidance on best selections). Editing style should use quick, elegant cuts — clean and engaging, not cluttered. The montage should end with my existing YouTube intro (3–4 seconds), which I will provide. The montage should not use the original colors of my past videos. Instead, apply a white-and-gold / gold-toned color grade — slightly washed-out, cinematic, and consistent across clips. The soundtrack should use my channel’s theme song, “The Curtain Rises” by Kevin MacLeod (a free track I’ve been using). The final product should feel professional, cinematic, and timeless. Requirements: Proven experience with montage-style editing (please share portfolio samples). Strong skills in pacing, transitions, and creative color grading. Ability to work with provided assets (footage, logo, and music track). Good communication and willingness to provide creative input. Budget: Fixed price — $200 USD Timeline: Final video must be delivered within 1 week of project start. Please answer the following when submitting your proposal: 1. Have you worked on montage-style edits before? If so, can you share a link to your best example? 2. How would you approach making clips from the past 10 years feel cohesive in a washed-out white-and-gold style? 3. What editing software do you primarily use? 4. Please confirm you have reviewed my channel before applying.
