Job Description: We’re a fast-growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce company looking for a skilled Video Editor with proven experience in creating content that drives sales. Our products live in highly visual categories (beauty, lifestyle, wellness), and we rely on compelling video creatives to fuel our growth across Meta, TikTok, and other paid social channels. We don’t just need an editor — we need someone who understands what makes a video convert in the DTC space. If you’ve successfully edited ads for e-commerce brands and know how to craft thumb-stopping, performance-driven videos, we want to work with you. Responsibilities: Edit UGC-style ads, product highlights, and branded storytelling content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and product pages. Create multiple ad variations for testing (different hooks, captions, CTA styles). Add captions, motion graphics, and transitions to improve clarity and engagement. Optimize edits to capture attention within the first 3 seconds and maintain retention. Collaborate with our creative strategist and media buyers to iterate on what works. Ensure consistency with our brand’s style and tone. Requirements: Proven experience editing ads for e-commerce and DTC brands (please provide portfolio links). Strong proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, etc.). Deep understanding of direct-response advertising and how to structure edits for conversions. Knowledge of current short-form video trends on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high creative standards. Strong communication and openness to feedback/iteration. Nice-to-Have (Not Required): Motion graphics/animation skills. Experience with A/B testing creatives and analyzing results.
