Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery. Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian. Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian. Identify livestock. May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties. Provide wound and bandage care. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
