About Oneday Oneday TPA Inc. is a fast-growing third-party administrator in the Canadian life insurance space. We’re building Oneday Pro, our proprietary administration system that powers agent submissions, underwriting workflows, commissions, and reporting. Our goal is to give insurance agents and administrators a frictionless, modern platform that makes their work faster, easier, and more intuitive. Role Overview We’re looking for a UI Designer to take ownership of the look, feel, and usability of Oneday’s administration system. This role is all about creating clean, intuitive dashboards and workflows that help our users focus on what matters most—serving their clients. What You’ll Do • Design agent and admin dashboards, reporting tools, and digital workflows within the Oneday Pro system. • Build out a design system and reusable UI components to ensure consistency across modules. • Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes in Figma (or similar tools). • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate business requirements into user-friendly interfaces. • Incorporate feedback from real agents and administrators to refine and improve designs. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience designing SaaS or admin dashboard interfaces (not just websites). • A strong portfolio showing experience with complex web applications. • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. • Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards. • Ability to design data-heavy UI (tables, reports, filters, notifications) in a way that feels simple and usable. • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a remote, fast-moving team. Nice to Have • Experience designing for fintech, insurtech, or CRM systems. • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Tailwind CSS (to understand developer constraints). • Previous work on internal tools or enterprise platforms.
