Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit. Review work orders . Road test motor vehicles . Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Repair or replace mechanical units or components. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Coach and instruct apprentices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Tire, wheel and rim mechanic.
