Overview
Job description Tri-modality ultrasound technician needed (general, vascular, cardiac) to perform scans at physicians' offices in Northern Virginia. Technicians must be proficient in at least 2 modalities. Licensed technicians preferred with at least 1 year of experience. Good communication and excellent customer service skills are required. Fixed weekly schedules. Duties
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to obstetric and gynecological scans.
- Utilize sonography equipment to capture images for diagnostic radiology purposes.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide necessary patient care.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in medical records.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound process and address any concerns they may have before, during, and after the procedure.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques within maternal-fetal medicine and Ob/Gyn specialties.
Skills
- Proficient in sonography techniques with a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging and patient care.
- Experience in maternal-fetal medicine or Ob/Gyn is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy in imaging results.

Pay: $1,328.53 - $1,599.95 per week
