- Insight is currently seeking a Transcriptionist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a full time, remote position, with a schedule of Sunday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Applicants must live in Alberta to be considered for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
- * Provide overall medical transcription support to the department, accurately transcribing medical dictations.
- * Organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands.
- * Communicate with radiologists and departments.
- * Provide peer support.
- * Communicate in a positive and cooperative manner.
- * Handle difficult situations in a sensitive and proactive manner.

Skills
- * Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- * Exceptional grammar, syntax, editing and punctuation skills.
- * Attention to detail, concern for accuracy and critical thinking.
- * Superior listening skills, focus and concentration.
- * General knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures, billing codes, and desktop applications (e.g. Word, Windows).
- * Keyboarding proficiency, ability to type 75+ words per minute.
- * Ability to complete large volumes of work under deadlines.
- * Commitment to excellence in patient care, quality control and adherence to diagnostic imaging standards.
Qualifications
- * Grade 12 diploma required.
- * Must reside in Alberta.
- * Successful completion of a recognized program in Medical Transcription required.
- * 1 to 2 years' recent experience and knowledge of diagnostic imaging processes preferred.
- * Reliable at-home internet connection.
