Location: 22010 South East 51st Street, Issaquah, WA 98029 Position Title: Test Design Professional Salary: $ 144,684 - $179,400 / year Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5pm Summary of Duties: Plan and execute system level design verification testing and integration testing for Ultrasound systems, including software, firmware, hardware, and imaging analysis. Communication of test status and issues to cross-functional project and leadership teams. Conducting root cause investigations on internally discovered and field reported failures. Collaborate with clinical, product management, software engineering, hardware engineering, quality engineering, and systems engineering during requirement reviews, test development, and defect management. Less than 10% international travel. Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Physics, Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience in the following: experience in defects tracking and management using Azure DevOps; experience in medical devices, specifically ultrasound imaging; experience working with design controls, requirements, and verification testing; experience understanding of the practical application of test/verification engineering, design controls, and requirements development in medical device product development; Experience in Class 2 and 3 medical devices, including catheters, specifically in ultrasound imaging; Experience implementing design controls from FDA Guidance CFR 820 (including design inputs and outputs); Experience in executing verification testing, participating in risk mitigation strategy and driving overall verification to meet requirements for medical device development.
