- In this role, you will lead the translation of market and client needs into technically robust and scalable product capabilities. You will bridge the gap between product strategy and engineering execution, ensuring high-quality delivery of complex software platforms. The role involves guiding architecture discussions, validating design feasibility, and collaborating closely with cross-functional technical teams. You will influence product direction, support backlog prioritization, and participate in customer-facing solution discussions. Accountabilities
- Define and own the product strategy for core platform components, including data ingestion pipelines, data quality, persistence layers, and administration capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to perform technical analysis and identify gaps between product and market needs.
- Translate architectural patterns and operational needs into actionable product requirements.
- Participate in architecture and code review discussions to validate feasibility, scalability, and maintainability.
- Support backlog refinement, delivery oversight, and prioritization guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Evangelize product features to internal teams and external customers, including hosting demos, presentations, and workshops.
- Ensure technical documentation, versioning, and platform capabilities are accessible and well-communicated across teams.
- Maintain compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, tracking billable hours and project management activities accurately.
- 5+ years in Technical Product Management, Software Engineering, Platform Product Ownership, or related technical role.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience delivering complex software platforms, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of FHIR/HAPI FHIR, RESTful APIs, data integration, ETL, data persistence, and authentication frameworks (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA) and terminology standards (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10).
- Experience with CI/CD, software release cycles, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to review architecture/design proposals, translate use cases into technical requirements, and provide guidance on implementation.
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform), distributed systems, observability, and system administration tools.
- Strong critical thinking, solution-oriented mindset, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
