Description About WC MarkerWe are an established Canadian-based retailer specializing in high-performance paintball equipment. We are transitioning our flagship product, the WC Marker Hybrid Pant, to a new, high-quality manufacturer in Vietnam. The Challenge & Scope (15-25 Hours Estimated)We require an expert Technical Designer to reverse-engineer a physical sample of our existing pant and create a complete, factory-ready Tech Pack (TP). The existing sample will be shipped to you. Your work will not involve new design but rather precise documentation. The Deliverables Must Be Factory-Ready: Technical Flat Sketches (CAD): Front, back, and detailed views highlighting all paneling, pockets, and stitching. Precise Spec Sheet: Full measurement specs (S-3XL) derived from the physical sample, including all Points of Measure (POMs) and required tolerances. Bill of Materials (BOM): Detailed listing of all components, including padding density/thickness (e.g., EVA foam), fabric composition, zippers, and trims. Construction Details: Explicit notes detailing critical stitching (e.g., double-needle, bar-tacks) and how the reinforcement panels are integrated for maximum durability. Quality Control Notes: Clearly defined AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards for factory inspection. Must-Have Experience We seek designers who specialize in technical outerwear, durable sportswear, or padded/tactical apparel. Please demonstrate experience with: Reverse-engineering complex garments from a physical sample. Documenting high-denier nylon fabrics and EVA foam padding integration.
