  • This role will support the tactical deployment of critical Talent Management processes, programs and policies that ensure we have the right talent, in the right place, at the right time to grow. This includes working with the Talent Management leaders to drive the most impact, designing solutions to address those challenges with cross-functional partners, exploring ways to scale as we grow, partnering with HR Operations and PeopleTech to build within our systems, educating team members and applying data based insights to refining year over year.
  • This program manager has experience collaborating with team peers and cross functional partners to support the creation and implementation of Talent Management programs. This individual should be a strong project manager, detail oriented, a self-starter, able to operate with ambiguity and agile enough to lean in on multiple projects simultaneously. This person should demonstrate skills in proactively identifying risks, adjusting program plans, and communicating fearlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of talent management programs to ensure they are integrated with our strategic talent agenda and workforce planning objectives.
  • Builds strong cross functional relationships with project working teams and key business partners (HR Ops, People Tech, Comp + Ben)
  • Drive operationally-effective processes that deliver the best experience for our customer, Lyft employees.
  • Foster a culture of feedback through accountability mechanisms across the company, unlocking performance and supporting development.
  • Work closely with the senior Leadership and People Team to design and deliver talent management initiatives that measure and increase performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Drive, alongside our People Business Partners, Lyft’s various talent initiatives; annual performance review, talent planning/calibration, and mid-year check-ins, upward feedback, engagement, and pulse surveys.
  • Help ensure we have the right people and capabilities in the right place at the right time by refreshing Lyft’s career and capabilities models and Integrating talent management processes with workforce planning and organizational design to drive a healthy organization.

Experience

  • 2-3 years experience operationalizing and implementing Talent Management programs, processes and policies.
  • Technical understanding of talent management program systems integration.
  • Customer centric and results oriented with ability to set and manage multiple priorities using strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and execute larger and more complex programs with senior level coaching. Demonstrates skills in proactively identifying risks, adjusting program plans, and communicating fearlessly.
  • Develops an understanding of business problems, applying techniques to monitor and assess implications for programs.
  • Builds strong relationships within the Program team. Coaches colleagues on operational improvements and seeks mentorship to enhance skills and improve collaboration within teams.
  • Expert at connecting customer needs, business goals, research insights, project goals, design iterations, timelines, and brand principles into end-to-end talent management programs in complex, high-demand environments.
  • Defines accountability for self.
  • Is approachable, accessible, and known to help others within the team, People Org and Lyft. Works with others of differing perspectives to provide the best solution. Able to build relationships with leaders in the organization.

  • Lyft highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.   • The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $84,000 - CAD $105,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
