• Job Description
• As a Team Lead, Operations at Vention, you are a frontline leader responsible for coordinating and guiding associates in fulfillment and production activities, including picking, packing, receiving, and light assembly. Positioned between the Team Captain and Supervisor, you ensure flawless execution on the floor, drive continuous improvement through lean practices, and act as the key link between associates and management. This hands-on role builds a safe, efficient, and positive team environment that supports both operational performance and employee growth.
• Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily workflows across picking, packing, receiving, and assembly to ensure operational targets are met.
• Monitor performance (OTD, efficiency, accuracy, next-day shipping) and adjust team priorities in real time.
• Support Captains by troubleshooting issues, providing direction, and escalating to the Supervisor when needed.
• Train, coach, and mentor associates, promoting best practices in quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with lean principles (5S, waste reduction, visual management) to improve team productivity.
• Contribute to the development and standardization of processes and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate reporting of shift performance, communicating results and challenges to the Supervisor.
• Act as role model for communication, collaboration, and problem solving within the team.
• Assist in implementing new initiatives and technologies to scale operations.

• On-Time Delivery (OTD) rate
• Next-day shipping rate
• Customer satisfaction (quality, accuracy, order condition)
• Operational efficiency (lines/hour, output per person, error rate)
• Adherence to lean/5S standards
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in fulfillment, production, or warehouse operations
• Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience (formal or informal)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
• Effective communicator with ability to motivate and guide team members
• Hands-on and adaptable, willing to step in and support operations directly when needed
• Comfortable with WMS/ERP systems and basic reporting in Excel
