Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The Teacher will play a crucial role in nurturing children's growth and development while ensuring they meet educational standards.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development.
- Ability to follow lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities, including special education needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support through early intervention techniques for students who require additional assistance.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages communication skills and social interaction among students.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development, classroom activities, and any concerns related to child welfare.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and share best practices for teaching methodologies.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education with experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is a plus.
- Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience with behavior management strategies.
- Ability to implement early intervention strategies effectively for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
