Within the team, the Join function is dedicated to designing and delivering end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experiences that attract, engage and retain exceptional talent who share RAC’s purpose and values. Due to an internal movement, we are seeking a Manager - People Experience (Join) to lead our Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the General Manager - People Experience, this position is offered on an initial 12-month contract and presents an exciting opportunity to shape the future of how we attract and welcome great people to RAC. What you’ll be doing As a key member of the People Experience leadership team, you’ll: Lead and empower a team to deliver a seamless, equitable and engaging experience across the recruitment and onboarding journey. Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and co-design attraction and selection strategies that align with RAC’s brand, values and future capability goals. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in our recruitment processes through automation, self-service and data-driven insights. Oversee the delivery of key lifecycle programs including onboarding, performance, reward and offboarding, ensuring a consistent and connected people experience. Collaborate with peers across People & Capability to embed a strong service culture and ensure our people strategies meet both business and member outcomes. Measure and report on key talent acquisition and experience metrics, using insights to shape future strategy. What we’re looking for: We’re seeking an experienced leader who thrives on connection, collaboration and impact. You’ll bring: Significant experience leading teams within talent acquisition, recruitment or broader HR functions. Proven success in designing and delivering contemporary recruitment strategies that attract high-performing, purpose-aligned talent. A passion for enhancing the employee experience from first interaction to farewell. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the business. A future-focused mindset, with an appetite for innovation and continuous improvement. Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field (additional certifications in human-centered design or service design are highly regarded). What can we offer you?
