Our client is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst/Developer to join their dynamic team and play a key role in enhancing and maintaining critical organizational systems. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee the design and implementation of system enhancements, workflows, and forms that support core business functions. You’ll work closely within an Agile team to deliver bug fixes, operational improvements, and new functionality to in-house software, ensuring all solutions align with corporate architecture, security standards, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on experience in C#, API development, Azure, and Terraform, along with a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle. You’ll translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, contribute to architectural design decisions, and ensure high-quality, well-tested code through CI/CD automation and collaborative development. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, as you’ll liaise with cross-functional teams, support system deployments, and contribute to ongoing system optimization. Experience within insurance or financial services and familiarity with Financial Crimes Risk Management are considered valuable assets. Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and enhance in-house systems, workflows, and forms.
•Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
•Write clean, high-quality, and secure code following corporate standards.
•Collaborate with Agile team members, infrastructure, and testing teams.
•Create and maintain technical documentation, scripts, and web service calls.
•Ensure system architecture and security policies are properly implemented.
•Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation efforts.
•Lead or assist in deploying new applications and system enhancements.
•Review and optimize existing systems for performance and efficiency.
•Support go-live activities and provide post-deployment troubleshooting.
•Perform knowledge transfer to solution support teams.
•Provide Level 3 support for incidents and problem resolution.
Qualifications
Top Skills Required:
•3+ years’ experience knowledge and experience in c#, building APIs, Azure and Terraform
•3+ years’ experience in IT systems development, full software agile lifecycle or related experience
Assets:
•Experience working as part of an Agile team with Business Subject Matter Expert, Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Tester, Scrum Master, Product Owner
•Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills especially Excel
•Working with 3rd party vendors and integrating applications
•Experience with automated and/or manual testing
•Ability to operate under structured release management frameworks, including the need for various environments, system maintenance, risk avoidance, etc.
•Must be business results oriented. Strong ability to translate business questions and requirements into technical solutions
•Strong analytical ability with demonstrated application of technical problem solving and analytical tools and techniques. Ability to identify issues and risks and provide options analysis
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Experience in an Insurance or Financial Services environment is an asset, but not essential
•Experience with Financial Crimes Risk Management is an asset, but not essential
