• Job Details
• The Supply Chain Intern will support Trimac’s Supply Chain team with day-to-day activities and summer initiatives focused on procurement, vendor management, and operational efficiency. This role provides hands-on exposure to supply chain processes within a large, multi-site transportation organization.
• This opportunity is ideal for a student who is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in understanding how supply chain operations support business performance.
• Responsibilities
• Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and documentation
• Support vendor communication and data updates
• Help analyze spend data and identify cost-saving or process improvement opportunities
• Maintain accurate supply chain records and reporting tools
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Operations, or a related field
• Returning to school following the summer term
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with data in Excel and other reporting tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Program Eligibility
• Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August
• Returning to school following the summer term
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid work permit)
