We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist ( packaging buyer) to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless procurement, inventory management, and demand planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, with proficiency in ERP systems and process improvement methodologies. As a key player in our supply chain functions, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and leverage data analytics tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities including purchasing, supplier negotiations, and vendor relationships using SAP ERP and other ERP systems.
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate demand planning and inventory management to meet production schedules while minimizing excess stock.
  • Implement process improvements aligned with lean manufacturing principles to streamline procurement and inventory workflows.
  • Monitor MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing current practices and recommending innovative solutions for process enhancement.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance metrics.

Experience

  • MUST HAVE MINIMUM 5 YEARS PACKAGING PRODUCTS PURCHAING EXPERINCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working within manufacturing or production environments with a focus on procurement or supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP (SAP ERP), SAP S/4HANA, or similar ERP systems is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Tableau, Power BI, SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, demand planning software, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement frameworks.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices including procurement strategies, demand forecasting, and inventory management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
