Strategic Marketing Manager (Agency + Owner Support) As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you’ll work directly with the agency owner to plan, lead, and optimize marketing across multiple brands. This is not a “I watched a few YouTube videos” role—we’re looking for someone with real experience, strategic depth, and the ability to turn ideas into structured plans, tasks, and results. You’ll lead strategy, research, content direction, funnel and follower-growth campaigns, and make sure the right work gets done on time by the right people. Responsibilities Collaborate with the owner to develop in-depth marketing strategies for multiple clients (positioning, funnels, campaigns, content plans, offer strategy). Conduct market, audience, and competitor research to inform strategy and creative direction. Build clear marketing plans and roadmaps (quarterly/monthly) and translate them into actionable tasks for the team. Oversee content and campaigns across channels (email, social, paid, funnels) to ensure alignment with strategy. Track performance of key campaigns (traffic, leads, sales, follower growth, engagement) and recommend data-backed optimizations. Coordinate with internal team members (designers, writers, video editors, media buyers) to keep projects moving and on-brief. Help build and manage follower-growth and nurture campaigns across social platforms. Identify gaps, propose solutions, and proactively bring ideas to the table rather than waiting for instructions. Requirements Proven experience in marketing strategy and campaign management (agency or in-house). Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social, email, paid media, funnels, basic SEO). Comfortable with research: market, audience, competitors, offers, and messaging angles. Ability to turn big-picture goals into concrete plans, timelines, and task lists. Confident reading and interpreting marketing metrics (CTR, CPC, CPL, ROAS, open rates, etc.) and turning them into clear next steps. Highly organized with strong project management skills. Able to think independently, make recommendations, and own outcomes—not just follow templates. Available daily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST. (must) Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset. Nice to Have Experience in a marketing agency environment. Hands-on experience with one or more: Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Ads, email platforms, or funnel builders. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, ClickUp, Asana). Comfortable joining client calls and presenting strategy or results when needed.
