  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing, the Strategic Marketing Manager will lead cross-functional alignment and spearhead growth initiatives within a defined vertical or region. With a strategic and growth-oriented mindset, collaborative working style, and strong customer centricity, this role is central to shaping and executing commercial strategies. The manager will collaborate across Sales, Service, Product Management, Innovation, Branding, and Operations to deliver impactful results. From market research and customer insights to commercialization planning and strategic execution, this position offers the opportunity to influence Trojan’s long-term roadmap.

In this role, a typical day will look like

  • Create the commercial strategy for assigned vertical/region, working cross-functionally to incorporate Sales and Service, Product Management and Innovation, Demand Generation and Branding, and Operations in achieving HSD growth
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on vertical/region growth strategies and ensure the cross-functional teams are translating strategies to action effectively through good Action Plans, Funnel Management, Growth Rooms, Daily Management, etc.
  • Work with the Product Management team to create new product commercialization plans by creating a comprehensive marketing plan including target personas, sales metrics, downstream marketing strategy, and sales enablement tools; regularly review existing go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth
  • Gain an intimate understanding of customer problems through primary and secondary research and effectively communicate insights to inform strategies and tactics
  • Lead the research and assessment of current and future market conditions/dynamics including macro factors, competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs, then translate findings into insights, strategy, and tactics

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced Marketing degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience, preferably in marketing, corporate strategy, and/or product management
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth initiatives
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time depending on time of year and business priorities/objectives

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

  • More than 3 years of hands-on experience in tactical marketing (demand generation) or sales, and business development
  • 2+ years of industry-specific experience in industrial water treatment solutions and technologies
  • Proven track record of collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones and geographic regions
