Our growing portfolio offers growth and advancement opportunities for driven individuals. Dorset Realty Group is seeking a Strata Manager with about 2 years to 3 years in the industry.
As a Strata Manager, you will be responsible for delivering standard-setting services to our clients and handling operational, administrative, and financial management for properties within your portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance and administrative operations of strata buildings within a portfolio
- Assist the Strata Councils in enforcing Strata Bylaws and Rules; advise the clients of relevant legislation.
- Schedule, prepare, and attend required Strata Council meetings, and ensure meeting minutes are drafted and distributed in a timely manner.
- Prepare annual operating budgets, and review financial statements, and invoices on behalf of the clients.
- Handle emergencies as needed for properties within a portfolio
- Regular site visits as needed
- Prepare Forms (B and F) to facilitate property sale transactions.
- Perform other administrative functions as needed
Other duties and projects may be assigned based on operational requirements.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a strata management role with a comprehensive understanding of the Strata Property Act, and a valid Strata Management License
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a successful track record of working with clients at all levels
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- A resourceful thinker with exceptional time management and organizational skills who is always up for a challenge
- BC Driver's license and an insured vehicle
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work outside regular business hours, if needed
This can be a fully remote or hybrid position. There will be occasional mandatory requirements to attend the office in person. Site visits at properties will be required.
