About the Role

The Store Operations Supervisor helps the Store Manager ensure that the store runs efficiently day-to-day. You’ll support team training, complete daily audits, coordinate staff coverage, and maintain high store standards. This is an excellent role for someone who has Supervisor experience.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations

  • Ensure all store processes and procedures are followed (buying, selling, cash handling, merchandising).
  • Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
  • Perform daily operational audits (cleanliness, organization, backroom standards, customer service).
  • Maintain consistent store Social media, housekeeping and retail presentation duties.

Training & Onboarding

  • Train all new hires on store systems, buying procedures, customer service, and job duties.
  • Support ongoing staff development and retraining.

Scheduling & Coverage

  • Help manage sick call coverage, shift adjustments, and busy-day staffing needs.
  • Assist with working interviews for new applicants.

Supply & Inventory Support

  • Complete weekly supply orders (bags, printer rolls, cleaning supplies, hangers, tags).
  • Track inventory levels and notify management of shortages.

Reporting

  • Complete and submit daily and weekly audit reports.
  • Identify issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Events & Promotions

  • Set up and coordinate in-store events, sales, and seasonal promotions.
  • Ensure signage, merchandising, and customer flow are organized.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year retail or customer service experience (operations or Supervisor experience is an asset).
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Confidence training others and giving direction.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working mornings, evenings, weekends, and event days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
