We’re hiring a Multimedia Designer at a fast‑growing digital marketing agency in Toronto. This is a long‑term, non-client-facing role for an experienced creator who combines UX/UI design, paid‑social creative, and video editing — with a strong interest in using AI to accelerate and scale creative work. What we’re looking for - 3+ years of professional experience in multimedia, digital, or UX/UI design (agency experience preferred). Strong portfolio that includes: - UX/UI screens and prototypes for web and mobile, showing user‑centered design thinking and interaction design. - Paid social ad creative for Meta/Instagram/LinkedIn/TikTok (static, animated, and carousel formats). - Short‑form video edits (15–90s), including captioning, pacing for social, and basic motion graphics. - Practical experience using AI tools to support creative workflows (e.g., image/video generation, automated editing, prompt‑based ideation). - Proficiency with industry tools: Figma/Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere/Final Cut/After Effects (or similar), HeyGen, Opus Clips etc. - Familiarity with ad specifications and best practices for Meta/Instagram and other paid channels. - Strong communication skills and the ability to iterate quickly based on performance data and stakeholder feedback. - Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines. Responsibilities - Design UX/UI screens, prototypes, and other digital product assets that balance user experience and client goals. - Produce paid‑social ad creative (static images, motion assets, animated GIFs, carousels) that follow platform specs and optimize for performance. - Edit and produce short‑form video optimized for social (vertical and square formats), including captions, sound design, and motion graphics. - Integrate AI tools into creative workflows to speed ideation, asset generation, and iteration while maintaining design quality. - Collaborate closely with account managers, performance marketers, and data analysts to translate strategy and campaign goals into creative concepts. - Deliver final assets on schedule; prepare variants and asset packs for A/B testing and campaign scaling. - Maintain organized source files, versioning, and clear handoffs for campaign implementation. Nice‑to‑have: - Experience with programmatic or dynamic creative platforms. - Hands‑on knowledge of animation rigging or advanced After Effects workflows. - Experience designing for accessibility and inclusive UX.
