Role: Technical SEO Lead for High Growth E-commerce Platform About the Project We are supporting a fast growing e-commerce platform in the collectibles space entering a major brand refresh and a high spend acquisition phase in early 2026. Their SEO foundation is extremely underdeveloped and needs a focused, high leverage technical cleanup in the next 4 to 6 weeks. The goal is not a 200 page audit. The goal is a directional, immediately actionable technical plan that the client’s engineering team can implement quickly. You will be the technical lead responsible for identifying low hanging technical issues, prioritizing the most impactful fixes, and guiding the engineering team with clear, simple, implementation ready recommendations. This is designed to be a 3-4-week project with delivery in early January. What You Will Deliver -Your primary deliverable is a concise technical audit and prioritized action plan that focuses on high impact, low complexity fixes. Specifically: -Technical Audit Scope -Review of Core Web Vitals with immediately actionable fixes -Crawl, index, render analysis focused on discoverability -Assessment of the current architecture and taxonomy -Identification of broken or missing slugs, canonical issues, and crawl roadblocks -Diagnosis of modal overlay product pages that prevent indexing -Recommendations for converting modal product pages into crawlable URLs -Internal linking structure evaluation -Identification of the fastest ways to increase -indexation and improve the SEO score -Simple schema markup recommendations -Basic backlink and authority opportunities Blueprint and Prioritization -A short, directional “here is what to do first, second, third” sequencing -Clear guidance for engineering teams who are not SEO experts -Comparison page recommendations against competitors -Tactical suggestions for improving visibility of trust and credibility signals -High leverage improvements mapped to estimated lift (traffic and visibility impact) Optional Add On -If the audit is strong, you may be extended to act as a light technical liaison in January, guiding implementation and advising the engineering team week to week.
