Are you a seasoned Solutions Architect with a passion for designing robust, integrated solutions on the Salesforce platform? We are seeking a strategic Salesforce Solutions Architect for a leading Canadian financial services and insurance organization. You will play a pivotal role in a major strategic shift to Salesforce, acting as the architectural lead for a dynamic, multidisciplinary division. Your mission is to design and oversee the implementation of solutions that maximize the native capabilities of the Salesforce ecosystem (including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft) to meet complex business needs in distribution, administration, and remuneration. This is a 12-month renewable contract with a strong potential for a permanent position. The role is offered on a remote basis, with occasional travel required to Montreal or Quebec City.

Responsibilities
Translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust solution architectures centered on the Salesforce platform.
Act as the end-to-end architectural lead, from initial design and governance reviews to supervising implementation and validating final delivery.
Ensure solutions seamlessly integrate with the existing enterprise ecosystem, proposing pragmatic integration patterns and workarounds.
Provide technical and architectural leadership to a multidisciplinary team of designers, analysts, and developers.
Guarantee that all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security principles, and data governance policies.
Maintain clear architectural documentation and act as the application owner for the designed solutions.
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 7 years as a Solutions Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
Core Salesforce Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft. Proven experience designing complex solutions and data models on the platform is required.
Technical Breadth: Strong knowledge of a modern tech stack, including React, .NET, Web APIs, Kafka, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Architectural Skills: Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), OOP/SOLID principles, and designing high-availability systems.
Leadership & Soft Skills: Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a high tolerance for ambiguity.
Full professional proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.
Assets: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Helm/Terraform); deep knowledge of the financial services/insurance sector.
