Role description: Working with high-profile clients around the world, you will deliver solutions that solve complex problems with evolving data and advanced algorithms. You will use current technologies like .NET, React, SignalR, TypeScript, and cloud services such as AWS and Azure to deliver applications involved in 24/7/365 active operations. You should demonstrate strong ownership and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality software solutions, including resolving production issues promptly when they occur. You should be a versatile self-starter eager to grow expertise across various facets of the software development lifecycle, primarily development, but including design, DevOps, and support. You will be working on several Arcadis' software products in the transportation realm, including work zones and traffic management. Full-stack development experience is essential (React for UI, .NET for backend, SQL for database), though a strength and interest in frontend/UI work is highly valued. Role accountabilities: Engage in full-stack development by implementing new features, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, and refactoring code for Arcadis' software products. Design, develop, unit test, document, and maintain applications and services across a variety of clients around the world. Do technical design and code review for new features and product improvements. Build software services and algorithms that integrate with external data sources to manipulate, analyze, and process geospatial data. Leverage cloud services provided by Azure or AWS to host and deliver services. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting customer-facing production systems. Proficiency with web development including HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, CSS, and web debugging tools. Proficiency in object-oriented design and development using .NET and C#. Experience with SQL database queries, optimization, and design. Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The salary range for this position is $82.500 - $99.000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position.
