Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Corrections. Crime prevention. Work setting: Half-way house. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Resolve conflict situations. Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses. Assist offenders in pre-release and release planning. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research.
