We're launching a disruptive SaaS platform with the power to transform the home improvement industry. We have quite a story to share, and content marketing via social media is a major piece of our campaign. The right candidate is a master storyteller with a strategic sense and strong accomplishments in social media. If you've built a vast and highly engaged social media following for one or more outstanding brands that contributed in a significant way to business success, we'd love to hear about it. Among your responsibilities will be drafting content calendars; posting content to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok; answering comments and DMs from prospects and users; removing spam comments; results reporting; collaborating productively with team members; and ensuring our social media presence remains on-brand and first-rate. Here's what's required in this role: * Excellent writing skills * Experience in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok (at least three of those channels) * Prior success in growing a sizable and engaged social media presence for at least one outstanding brand * Ability to post compelling content relating to a B2C SaaS solution * Comfort with (and a willingness to embrace) social media automation tools, including AI-based * A willingness to experiment and shift content to what works best based on measurable results * Skill at posting in diverse formats * Skill at results reporting in very useful ways * A history of collaborating productively with team members, including receiving and incorporating agreed-upon feedback * A passion for doing incredible work What's useful but not essential: * SaaS or other software/application experience * A degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field * Graphic design skills * Video production/editing skills * Knowledge of lead generation * Experience with one or more startups * Experience in the home improvement market * Skill at garnering publicity The ideal candidate is a meticulous, well-organized, high-integrity, quality-driven pro with a lengthy record of success on Upwork. You should be a self-starter and highly motivated person who doesn't need much hand-holding and can own the entire process. You should also pride yourself on being responsive to requests. Additionally, you should be a full-time freelancer (not someone holding down a corporate job and moonlighting on the side) available during U.S. hours and willing to work under an hourly Upwork contract using the Upwork time tracker. This is a search for an individual freelancer only (sorry, no agencies).
