Role Description
As a Recruiting Coordinator Intern, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in the field of Talent Acquisition, with a focus on high-volume retail hiring across our corporate-owned outposts. This is a learning-focused opportunity designed to help you build foundational skills in recruiting, HR systems, candidate experience, and cross-functional communication.
- Interview Coordination: Learn how to coordinate candidate interviews with General Managers and Area Managers.
- HR Systems & Workflow Support: Get trained in Workday ATS to manage candidate pipelines and requisitions.
- Candidate Experience & Communication: Discover how to be the main point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
- Must be an Active-duty service member eligible for the DOD SkillBridge Program within 180 days of separation.
- Pre-approval from Chain of Command to participate in internship lasting at least 120 days.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with recruiting or administrative functions is a plus.
- Experience with Workday or other ATS platforms is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for BRCC’s mission and supporting Veterans, Military, and First Responder communities.
Requirements
- Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
- Ability to work in a confined area.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
