• Ashcor Technologies Ltd., a subsidiary of ATCO, is the largest independent marketer of fly ash in Western Canada. Ashcor is adding to its dynamic team as it expands its reclaimed ash management facility north of Halkirk, Alberta. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our facilities, and as such we are looking for a Site Supervisor to join us.

About the Role

• Are you a proven leader with a passion for operational excellence and safety? We’re seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee daily operations at our Battle River facility. In this role, you’ll ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant performance while driving production targets and team success.

What You Get to Do

• • Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance across the operation.
• • Oversee plant operations, maintenance, and turnaround activities.
• • Manage staffing schedules and operational reporting.
• • Create, review, and prioritize work orders in CMMS; verify scope, materials, and labor requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshoot operational challenges.
• • Allocate tasks to in-house technicians and contractors, ensuring proper permits and lockout/tagout procedures are in place.
• • Audit spare parts inventory and maintain accurate records in CMMS
• • Lead and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
• • Provide relief support to the Plant Manager

What You Bring

• • High school diploma, with a technical/trade certification preferred
• • 7+ years in industrial facility operations
• • 5+ years of leadership experience
• • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems; electrical and heavy equipment experience an asset
