The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for Serviceperson (Fuel and Lube) with large earthworks construction/mining project experience. Nuna is the largest Inuit-owned heavy civil construction, earthworks, and mine construction contractor in Canada. • 3 week on / 3 week off rotations; 12-hour days
• Fly in Fly out
• Competitive hourly rate with Overtime pay (1.5x),
• Commercial flights and accommodations are covered

• This position is located on our project site located in Hope Bay Mine, Nunavut.

• A&D Testing
• Criminal Record Check
• Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fueling and servicing of mobile equipment and stationary equipment including Excavator, Dozer, Loader, Grader, Rock Trucks etc.
• Ensuring fuel and service schedules are adhered to
• Daily inspections of equipment
• Communication of deficiencies supervisors
• Ensure all Client and Company Safety and Environmental policies are followed
• Pre-start safety inspections
• Assist with maintenance as required by maintenance staff
• Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class 3 License with Airbrakes endorsement
• Previous experience with similar position in heavy civil setting
• Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Good physical fitness as this position involves climbing up/down equipment frequently
