Who you are The Senior Specialist of Total Rewards is an integral part of our Total Rewards and People teams responsible for providing exceptional Total Rewards support to our corporate Support Centre and our network of dental practices across the country. The Senior Specialist of Total Rewards reports into our Senior Manager of Total Rewards who leads Dentalcorp’s Total Rewards Centre of Excellence and will be responsible for the analytics and administration of our compensation, benefits, equity and perk programs. The ideal candidate will have Total Rewards experience in a fast-paced, multi-location environment; a sense of urgency; professionalism; and a true passion for excellence and attention to detail. In this role, you will Maintain and/or design Total Rewards metrics, reporting and analysis Oversee Dentalcorp’s benefit administration for corporate head office Participate in and interpret both salary surveys to ensure compensation objectives are achieved or for compliance Provide creative and innovative analysis of compensation programs to provide recommendations for revisions, improvements, and/or introductions Respond to compensation and benefits inquires, coordinating internal and external stakeholders as needed Provide consultative support to HR Business Partners, leaders, and employees on compensation and benefits policies, practices, and employment agreements Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, and Legal on governance, cost modeling, and regulatory compliance for Total Rewards programs Assist in managing compensation processes and programs, including but not limited to annual salary review, variable compensation programs and equity programs Lead the testing of compensation and benefits software tools to support annual year-end initiatives such as our annual pay review process and benefits re-enrollment activities Develop recommendations for program enhancements based on market trends, employee feedback, and organizational strategy Support M&A integration and due diligence activities as they relate to compensation and benefits Perform other compensation and benefits projects and administrative duties as assigned What we’re looking for 3-5 years of Human Resources experience with a focus in Compensation and Benefits Post-Secondary education specializing in Human Resources or other relevant Business-related field Practical experience administrating corporate benefits plans and perk programs Working knowledge of base and variable compensation programs and structures Strong Microsoft Office Suite capabilities with intermediate to advanced Excel skills Customer service-oriented communication Maintains high attention to detail in order to manage records and data, and meet deadlines Exceptional time management, organizational and multi-taking skills with excellent attention to detail About Dentalcorp Dentalcorp is Canada's largest network of dental practices, committed to advancing the overall well-being of Canadians by delivering the best clinical outcomes and unforgettable experiences.
