Position Summary The MWAV Senior Reliability Specialist will focus on in-service support for the MWAV system and configuration management of Isherwoods software and other reliability software as required. The ideal candidate will ensure high system availability and reliability through effective failure reporting, analysis, and corrective actions tracking to support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Areas of Responsibility Lead and oversee comprehensive in-service reliability support for the MWAV system, driving initiatives to enhance system reliability, availability, and maintainability at a fleet-wide level. Strategically configure, maintain, and optimize Isherwoods software to ensure robust failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action tracking aligned with best practices. Conduct in-depth analysis of reliability data and failure trends using tools such as Windchill Risk and Reliability software or equivalent, providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. Act as the primary technical expert and advisor on FRACAS processes, facilitating root cause investigations and spearheading corrective and preventive action implementation in collaboration with engineering, service delivery, and quality assurance teams. Drive the development and continuous improvement of reliability documentation, including procedures, reports, and performance metrics, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Lead equipment health monitoring efforts and reliability assessments across the MWAV asset lifecycle, recommending strategic enhancements to system design or maintenance practices. Provide technical leadership in software training, mentoring end-users on Isherwoods and associated reliability tools to maximize effectiveness and adoption. Chair reliability review meetings and lead continuous improvement programs, including sparing and logistics analysis, providing expert guidance to influence decision-making. Ensure comprehensive compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer expectations related to reliability engineering and in-service support. Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for both MWAV hardware/software and Isherwoods software configurations, resolving complex issues and minimizing operational disruption. Influence cross-functional teams by communicating complex technical concepts clearly and driving consensus on reliability strategies and solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Naval Architecture or other relevant field of study. 10 years experience in a marine or related environment 10 years experience developing or executing a FRACAS program involving various reliability techniques Language: English (Essential), Preferred Qualifications Post graduate or technical qualifications and experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Preventive Maintenance (PM).
