- We are seeking a passionate Senior Proposal Advisor to join our Buildings team and play an important role in expanding our presence nationwide. In this role, you will craft compelling, client-focused proposals that showcase our expertise, strengthen our market position, and help secure new and exciting projects across Canada.

Reporting to an Executive Director, you will work closely to ensure the quality and impact of all documentation, playing a key role in securing exciting new opportunities for CIMA+.

Primary Responsibilities
- Write and develop proposal content by collaborating with various specialists through interviews, working sessions, and research to collect and refine proposal content. Draft, edit, and format proposal sections including corporate qualifications, resumes, and project descriptions. Develop visually engaging graphics and layouts that elevate proposal quality.
- Understand and analyze the legal, governance, and organizational aspects of public and private sector Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals through scheduled kick-off and check-in meetings, proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and peer reviews to ensure overall integrity and timeliness of proposal submissions.
- Develop and maintain a library of project information, resource profiles, and execution strategies to produce compelling, accurate, and well-structured proposals.
- Ensure all submitted documents comply with RFP requirements and align with the firm's quality standards. Review proposals for accuracy, clarity, grammar and compliance.
- Work with our CRM system, keeping it up to date to maintain and enhance our business intelligence, ensuring strategic insights for future opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of technological tools used in proposal creation.
- Qualifications
- College or university degree in a writing-related field (professional communications, public communications, journalism, translation, etc.) or other relevant training.
- Four (4+) years of relevant experience in proposal writing, marketing, or business development within a professional services environment. Examples of work or portfolios are welcome.
- Experience preparing proposals in the engineering, architecture, or construction sectors is an asset.
- Experience working with CRM systems, with the ability to maintain and leverage them for business intelligence and opportunity tracking.
- Excellent knowledge of Office 365 tools (especially Word and Teams); knowledge of Visio and SharePoint is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and business acumen to ensure high-quality, strategic proposals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- The expected salary for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 and is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
