The impact you'll make
- Reporting into the Director, Product, the Sr Product Specialist, Home plays a key role in driving the execution of innovation initiatives from concept approval through to launch. This role is responsible for managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional deliverables, and ensuring new products meet category objectives and financial targets. As a central point of contact across teams, the Senior Specialist ensures alignment, operational efficiency, and timely delivery of product launches. Their work directly supports the successful commercialization of innovation, strengthens retail partnerships, and contributes to the organization’s growth through disciplined execution and process optimization.

What you'll do
- Coordinate the end-to-end management of New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring all projects are executed efficiently from Innovation-approved concept through to market launch, in alignment with category vision and financial goals (e.g., revenue, margin, growth).
- Build and coordinate detailed project timelines and go-to-market (GTM) plans, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution across cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Product Category Managers and cross-functional partners (e.g., Sourcing, Finance, Regulatory) to develop and maintain accurate cost sheets, product launch files, and compliance documentation for key markets including Canada and the U.S.
- Organize and track all components of the NPD process, including artwork specifications, product samples, manuals, and packaging requirements, ensuring readiness for internal approvals and retailer submissions (e.g., Ulta, Saje).
- Lead cross-functional communication and alignment, coordinate product updates, deliverables, and timelines to support seamless integration of new retail partnerships and category-agnostic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of NPD and NPL processes, enhancing clarity of ownership, operational efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including Brand Product Marketing Calendars, Sales Planning files, and weekly/monthly NPD reports.
- Coordinate cost sheet updates and ensure margin accuracy in partnership with Sourcing and Finance
- Work closely with Creative/QA/RA/R&D to own label land packaging accuracy, with strong attention to detail
- Ensure timelines stay on track across sampling, internal approvals, and GTM components; support category-agnostic projects (e.g., ingredient corrections, compliance updates, packaging changes)
We'd love to hear from you if you have
- 2-4 years of experience in product development, project management, or related roles within consumer goods, retail, or beauty/wellness industries.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end product launches, including cross-functional coordination and timeline management.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, cost sheet development, and financial metrics such as revenue and margin targets.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance across North American markets (U.S. and Canada), including packaging and claims.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple timelines and priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to lead cross-functional updates and ensure alignment.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for organizing and tracking product documentation, samples, and artwork specifications.
- Proficiency in tools and systems used for product calendars, cost tracking, and sales planning documentation.
- Highly collaborative and proactive in driving process improvements and standardization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

- The compensation range on average for this position is from $65,000-$72,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
