- About the role
- Laravel is hiring its first Product Marketing leader to build the function from the ground up for our flagship product, Laravel Cloud.
- As Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you’ll define how Laravel Cloud is positioned, who it’s for, why it wins, and how it goes to market — across self-serve developers and sales-assisted customers. You’ll own messaging, launches, content strategy, sales enablement, and the systems that help the entire company clearly articulate value. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing and will have the opportunity to hire and lead direct reports over time.
- This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves clarity, narrative, and turning turning technical products into products people immediately understand and choose.
- What you’ll do
- Own positioning, messaging, and ICP definition
- Define and continuously refine Laravel Cloud’s ideal customer profiles, personas, and primary use cases across individual developers and SMB teams.
- Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that explains why customers choose Laravel Cloud over alternatives.
- Align the organization around value drivers and competitive differentiation — from product and sales to marketing and leadership.
- Lead go-to-market strategy and launches
- Own go-to-market strategy for new features and major releases, from planning through launch and post-launch adoption
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value.
- Define launch goals, target segments, success metrics, and feedback loops.
- Drive content and website strategy
- Own the product marketing content roadmap, including website pages, product narratives, landing pages, and lifecycle content.
- Partner with Growth to create content that drives measurable outcomes: signups, sales conversations, and faster conversion.
- Enable sales and partnerships
- Build sales enablement that improves deal velocity and win rates, including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, and use-case narratives.
- Equip sales teams with a clear understanding of Laravel Cloud’s value, target customers, and competitive landscape.
- Serve as a trusted partner to sales on how to position the product in real customer conversations.
- Bring customer and market insight into the business
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform positioning and influence roadmap priorities.
- Use data and qualitative insights to form strong, defensible points of view on how Laravel Cloud should go to market.
- Build the function
- Establish the foundations of product marketing at Laravel, including processes, artifacts, and best practices.
- Hire and mentor future product marketing team members as the company grows.
- Who you are
- We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply.
- 5+ years prior product marketing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience
- Be able to leverage data to proactively identify opportunities and drive impactful results
- Knowledge of cloud-based architectures in one or more technical domains (e.g. Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI, Observability, Security, etc.)
- Fully remote and globally distributed working environment
- Health care plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
- Paid time off (Vacation, Sick & Public holidays)
- Family leave (Maternity, Paternity)
- Pension plans (As locally applicable)
- Performance based bonus plan
- Company equity
