- The Senior Manager of Sales Operations is responsible for owning and optimizing sales systems, ensuring data integrity, and enabling our revenue teams to scale with confidence. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and especially our CRO, Dove, to ensure that processes, tools, and analytics drive performance and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage Salesforce, including CPQ, data structure, and cross-functional process flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, including misaligned opportunity types, quote logic, and commission accuracy.
- Collaborate with the CRO to provide monthly forecasts, sales funnel insights, and team diagnostics.
- Bring clarity to chaos by triaging requests and managing cross-departmental priorities with confidence.
- Unwind over-customized Salesforce configurations by implementing scalable, repeatable system standards.
- Maintain data integrity across handoffs to billing, commissions, and financial systems.
- Act as a partner to Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align on reporting, sales planning, and operational blockers.
- Support and guide potential transition to Revenue Cloud, in alignment with future-state systems architecture.
- Serve as a cross-functional leader and mentor to Marketing Operations and Sales Enablement.
- Be the internal owner of Salesforce configuration and governance, reducing reliance on undocumented legacy code.
- Ensure accountability for how Salesforce is used, balancing urgency with long-term sustainability.
- Lead with empathy but say no when needed, you’ll protect the systems and processes that support the business.
Requirements
- Work closely with the CRO, this is your most important internal relationship.
- Operate in Central Time Zone hours to support team collaboration.
- Serve as a bridge between technical, operational, and commercial teams.
- Lead process refinement across quote-to-cash, billing workflows, and commissions reporting.
- Build reports and dashboards that tell the story behind the data, then take action.
- Prioritize and act quickly without losing strategic focus.
- Navigate competing priorities and conflicting requests from multiple stakeholders, including executives.
- Develop intake processes, create documentation, and implement change management frameworks.
- Be ready to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment where agility, resourcefulness, and leadership are essential.
Nice to Have
- Deep Salesforce experience, particularly with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).
- Experience with Revenue Cloud implementation or transition.
- Comfort with quote governance, commission workflows, and financial systems integrations.
- Familiarity with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or other modern sales methodologies.
- Background working with or supporting SaaS or B2B sales organizations.
- Experience managing Sales Enablement or Marketing Operations team members.
- Proven success in high-change, high-pressure operational environments.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge constructively.
- Ability to influence without authority and work autonomously.
