Reporting to the IT Service Desk Lead, the Senior IT Support Specialist is responsible for a number of key functions within the IT Service Delivery function that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users. This position is a customer facing role, requires that you establish and manage expectations of the business and engage and drive peers within the IT team, as well as external service providers, to achieve those expectations to the highest possible standards. The Role Reporting to the IT Service Desk Lead, you will: Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations and service continuity Provide hands-on support for end-user devices and office tech Lead incident, request, change, and problem management processes Support delivery of infrastructure upgrades and cybersecurity initiatives Travel to other sites to support broader Squadron Energy teams Drive continuous improvement and contribute to project success Manage onboarding/offboarding processes and hardware lifecycle Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet service expectations What You’ll Bring 3+ years in IT operations and 1+ year in project delivery Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and service desk management Technical expertise in Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, AD, and AV tech Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-moving, evolving environment with some ambiguity Experience supporting remote sites and managing multiple priorities Strong vendor management and influencing skills Tech Stack You’ll Work With Windows 10/11, Windows Server Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) Entra AD, Intune, Exchange Online LAN infrastructure, AV tech, secure printing, workstation setups Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field ITIL framework training preferred To Apply Squadron Energy is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
