Job Details: Job Description: Join Altera as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner! The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic role that focuses on aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. This position partners closely with executive team members and senior leadership to develop and implement People strategies and plans that support Altera's goals. As a key HR contributor within the organization, the HRBP is responsible for overseeing critical initiatives and projects at the functional and/or geographic level and providing project leadership for cross-functional and company-wide efforts. The individual in this role plays a pivotal part in supporting and contributing to functional and/or geographic priorities, work plans, and long-term strategies.  This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Sr. Director, HR Business Partnering and L&D. This position will report into the office four days per week.    What You'll Do   Work closely with assigned Executive leaders and leadership team to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support those objectives.  Influence and contribute to the business strategy by providing insights on people trends and their impact on business performance.  Ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business and overall company plans.  Support talent management activities including succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing.  Collaborate with leaders to identify and address talent gaps.  Facilitate effective performance management processes to drive results and development.  Evaluate organizational needs and assist in designing and implementing programs to drive change and improve effectiveness.  Support organizational effectiveness and restructuring efforts to meet strategic, long-term goals.  Serve as an advocate for a positive employee experience and partner with Employee Relations to address employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.  Contribute to leading and managing change initiatives with a hands-on approach to execution.  Support and implement change management strategies to support organizational transformations.  Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.  Provide timely and relevant data-driven insights to leadership to support strategic decisions.  Serve as the primary point of contact and HR expert in Canada, working closely with internal and external resources for geography specific execution and customization. Our compensation is designed to reflect the Canadian labour market. The actual salary offered may vary based on several factors, including the position’s location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, training, and job-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, we offer performance-based incentive opportunities that reward both individual contributions and overall company success. Canadian work experience is not required for this role. Qualifications: What We're Looking For   Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
