- Working very closely with fellow dispatchers to co-ordinate the daily activities
- Advising Customer Service Representatives of any issues so the CSR may communicate directly with clients
- Update changes in run and freight details in Truckmate system
- Troubleshooting various issues as encountered by drivers, fellow Dispatchers & Customer Service personnel. Promote prompt & efficient problem resolution
- Communicate on an "as needed" basis with senior personnel including VP Operations, Safety & Compliance Director, Fleet Manager, etc
-Participate in weekly Operation & Planning meetings, usually held virtually. Provide your insight
- Update Accessorial Charges in the truckmate software system
- Updating shipment status in the dispatch system (Truckmate)
- Confirm that pay-roll calculations made by drivers are accurate

Qualifications
- Excellent English conversational skills required. French conversational a strong asset
- Minimum of 4 year experience working for a trucking asset-based company, preferably with intermodal experience
- Team spirit. Able to work well with others
- Good communicator
- Minimum high school graduate
- Knowledge of Truckmate software (asset, we will train)
- Great attitude & willingness to learn
