- This role provides the opportunity to shape and optimize cloud infrastructure and development workflows within a fast-growing, innovative ad technology company. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and enhance application performance. The role offers ownership of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and monitoring systems while ensuring secure, high-quality software delivery. You will contribute to both backend and frontend infrastructure, support cross-functional teams, and help introduce new technologies to drive efficiency. This is a fully remote position that emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Accountabilities
- · Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate development and deployment processes.
- · Monitor and optimize infrastructure and applications for availability, performance, and security.
- · Implement continuous monitoring and improve DevOps practices across teams.
- · Research and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance development workflows.
- · Maintain version control systems and branching strategies to support efficient collaboration.
- · Deploy and manage cloud environments, including AWS and Google Cloud, for production and development.
- · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation of workflows.
- · Identify and mitigate security risks across the infrastructure and applications.
- · Minimum 5 years of experience as a SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineer.
- · Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SNS, EBS, EKS).
- · Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
- · Expertise in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- · Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience in frontend and backend technologies.
- · Experience with microservice architectures, APIs, and version control (Git/GitHub).
- · Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Bamboo, or Travis CI.
- · Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and database technologies (MongoDB, AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL).
- · Strong technical documentation and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
- · Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), AdTech experience, Agile methodology familiarity, and product analysis tools like PostHog.
